Daily you (“Daily you”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the Daily you iOS application.
We collect only the information necessary to provide the core functionality of the app.
When you onboard or update your preferences, you may choose a reference photo from your photo library. This photo typically includes your face.
What face data we collect: When you upload a reference photo, we collect the image file which contains your facial likeness. We do not extract, analyze, or store facial geometry, biometric identifiers, or facial recognition data separately from the photo itself.
How we use face data: Your photo containing your face is used solely and exclusively to generate personalized AI-based wallpapers that feature your likeness. The photo is sent to our secure servers and processed by a third-party AI image generation service (Replicate) to create stylized images based on your selected mood.
Third-party sharing: Your photo is shared only with our AI image generation provider (Replicate) for the sole purpose of generating your personalized wallpapers. Replicate processes the image in real-time and does not retain your photos after processing. No other third parties receive your face data.
Storage and retention: Your reference photo is stored on our secure servers for as long as you maintain an active account, to enable daily wallpaper generation. Generated images containing your likeness are stored temporarily to deliver the service. You may request deletion of all your data, including your reference photo and all generated images, at any time by contacting us.
What we do NOT do with your face data:
Your selected mood (for example, “Serene” or “Sci-Fi”) is stored locally on your device and sent to our backend to personalize wallpaper generation.
The wallpapers generated for you are stored temporarily to deliver the service and allow you to view or save them.

If you enable notifications, we collect your Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) token. This token is used only to notify you when a new wallpaper is ready.
If you purchase a subscription, Apple provides us with a transaction identifier. This identifier is used only to verify and link your subscription status. We do not receive your payment details.

We do not scan, analyze, or access other photos in your library.

We do not sell your personal data, including your face data.
We share your photo containing your face only with the following trusted service provider, solely for the purpose of generating your personalized wallpapers:
